My First Time!

Wait. You didn't think... oh. Um... you'll be disappointed.

Anyway, today I was sitting at a school when it happened. I saw something out of the corner of my eye and turned to come face to face with a gigantic killer bee!! Okay, it was actually sort of small, but I jumped up, screamed and did the Get-this-bee-off-me dance. In my panic, I think I tried to karate chop it.

When the saga was over, I sat back down and felt a pulsing in my hand. I lifted it up and on my ring finger was a mark. THE FREAKING THING STUNG ME!! How dare it! It was on MY shoulder!

Sigh. It was my first bee sting. The secretary stared at me, maybe not believing me, and told me I'd have to wait there fifteen minutes to make sure I wasn't allergic. Awk-ward.

But I was fine. I actually feel a little cooler. Like a new scar to show off. Tell you what, those bees are gonna freaking quake in their stingers when they see me coming...

Dude, I've never been stung by a bee either! (Though of course now that I say that, every bee will seek me out...)

Glad to know it really is survivable!

Congrats? :)
My daughter just got stung for the first time a few weeks ago. I gave her Children's Benadryl just in case she was allergic (she has health problems so I'm overprotective), it swelled a little but she was fine. And didn't even cry!
Show off your battle scar with pride! I can't believe you've never been stung!

Aww, I hope you feel better though! I'm sure that be saw his life flash before his eyes when he saw your karate chop if that makes you feel better!

Ouch. It's interesting to think that the bee gets only one sting, and that's gonna kill it. You kinda wanna say to the bee - "Was it worth it?" Hope your finger's healing!
Namaste and a hug,
Lee

LOL! Not at the bee sting, but at your sense of humor. My first bee sting was on my eyelid. Yup. It hurt. It swelled. It took weeks to look normal again.

hahaha! my first bee sting (actually, maybe a hornet? a wasp? who knows!) was on my...um...rear! my grandpa said it showed I was smart enough to run away. I don't know, though...the karate chop move sounds a little more stylish. (And just because I'm an allergy know-it-all, the first sting just builds the antibodies. If you're going to be allergic, it will be the next one that does it!)

. Many stings take place during the fall months. Reason being, bees and wasps are cold blooded insects and they linger around people in order to absorb the body heat of humans, therefore increasing the chances of getting stung.

Last week, I witnessed a 4 year old girl with her hand and forearm swollen to her elbow, from a wasp sting that she received to her fingertip the day before. The sight of her hand and arm brought tears to my eyes because I knew that if she had had Baker's Venom Cleanser Bee Sting Cure available when she was stung, none of her discomfort would have elevated to that extreme point of swelling and discomfort.

Our web site has under gone some new additions worth taking a look at. 1988 investigative news video footage by George Ciccarone of Cincinnati's WKRC-TV interviews founder Ray Baker, a pharmacist and others about the effectiveness of Baker's Venom Cleanser on stings in people as the stings occur. This is a must see amazing video about how to cure bee stings with Baker's Venom Cleanser. www.YouTube.com/BeeStingCure the link is also available at our web site.
